The beautiful sceneries of North Zealand are a landscape painter’s dream. Maybe that’s why there’s a plentifullness of local artists. Now 87 of these professional local artists are collaborating in a regional art tour.
Ceramic and textile art, painters and sculptures – all kinds of art are represented in the Art Tour of North Zealand. The art tour launches at an joint exhibition in Frederiksværk from August 27th to September 4th .
Every of the 87 artists can exhibit one piece at the exhibition. This gives the audience an idea of, whom of the artists they want to pay a visit during the art tour, where all the artists open their workshops to the public.
The art tour is for everyone who’s interested in art as well as professionals. I know from previous years, that some people make a detailed program for all they want to see and do during the art tour: The route they will drive, the artist they will meet, the art they will see, where they eat and perhaps what other cultural sights they will visit on the tour,” tells Karen Folker from Visit North Zealand.
The Art Tour of Monarchic North Zealand is a partnership between the Municipalities of Fredensborg, Gribskov, Halsnæs, Helsingør and Hillerød.
