Elvita<\/p><\/div>\n

1979 Elvita Adams took two elevators to the observation deck of the Empire State Building, scaled the curved ten foot fence and jumped. She also survived.This is her story. Or, at least, a version of it.<\/p>\n

No one seemed to know what happened to her after she was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. She has since turned into a mere urban legend. Until now.<\/p>\n

Comfortism, Ashley Smith, bring her story back to life in a play which is much funnier than its theme suggests. Initially inspired by the grim tragedy of the gay teenager from Ashley’s home town of Derby, whose suicide hit the tabloids two years ago. Goaded, as he was, by Saturday afternoon shoppers, into jumping.<\/p>\n

Ashley re-imagines Elvita as a stand-up Comedian obsessed with other people who come to this terrible end.<\/p>\n

A show packed with the stranger characters of life. The worlds least convincing female impersonator, a skinhead striptease, a very angry pigeon and a fist full more.<\/p>\n

Lots of laughs, a few tears, and a rip roaring sing-along to finish. Unmissable.<\/p>\n
