It sold out in Edinburgh in 2008, 2009 and 2010, has been touring the world since 1997, and is appearing in nine countries this year alone. This show consistently sells out; now you can experience the Experience!<\/p>\n

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a loosely-scripted, pitch-perfect tribute to Fawlty Towers, featuring all the best gags and a 3-course meal. The show starts as you wait to be seated, and it hurtles along for the next two hours as Sybil, Basil and Manuel serve the meal… Basil’s neurotic, Sybil domineering, and poor, beleaguered Manuel – of course – is hopelessly language-challenged. Everything that can wrong, does… just don’t mention the war!<\/p>\n

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a site-specific, ‘total immersion’ piece of interactive comedy theatre which develops the characters made famous by John Cleese, Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs. Performed in a restaurant, it provides two hours of face-aching fun as well as a fabulous meal: the audience are the diners and the cast their warring waiters.<\/p>\n

Born in Australia in 1997, the show debuted in Europe at the Edinburgh Festival of 2008 to huge critical and public acclaim. It’s been touring Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe with four teams of cast ever since. The Edinburgh Fringe 2011 cast features Alison Pollard-Mansergh and Amanda McKay (alternating) as Sybil, Kevin Whittle as Basil, and Anthony Sottile as Manuel.<\/p>\n
